Allie was a huge blessing to us. We took her hypnobirthing class and hired her as our birth doula. She was exactly what I needed. If labor is like riding waves Allie was our light house, she was always reminding me of the proper direction to ride them, to relax when I got tense and giving me reassurance and relief with hip squeezes when I needed it the most. She gave my husband the confidence and reassurance so he could be a better birth partner that I ever imagined. I followed every positional suggestion she made, some of them were really intense, but they certainly helped, our little Clay was born faster than anyone expected after only 4 hours of active labor and 40 minutes of pushing, he was with us, perfect and healthy. I’m so thankful Allie was there guiding and supporting us in the most gentle encouraging way, she was everything we needed and taught us so much!
